General features include

• display of standard DICOM images in a variety of different view modes
• image optimisation, measurement, marking, window-level, zoom, rotate, invert etc
• functions for multi-layer series (eg CT, MRI etc), including image stack/review,
  cine-loop, mark/process single or multiple images of a series, select layers, split screen, print single image or series with different layouts

DICOM functions include:

• DICOM – send/receive images within a network using DICOM 3 protocol
• DICOM modality worklist – to receive work-lists from a HIS or RIS
• DICOM print – prints images on a single or multiple DICOM wet or dry printers

Special functions include:

• Multi-Monitor
  connection/operation of high-resolution monitors in single/dual head configuration
• Paper Print
  receives DICOM print jobs and converts to Windows print commands to produce
  hard copies (usually on paper) on non-DICOM printers
• Patient CD – Manual
  writes images etc of a single or multiple patients onto a CD that can be handed to patient or doctor.  CD contains a simple viewer which enables physician to view images, read reports, hear sounds, etc, on any PC
• Display Archive Status
  displays a status LED to indicate availability of archive access (for use with all
  major Archives supporting DICOM echo)

Paper Scanner (TWAIN Interface)
Enables user to scan paper documents and incorporate them into a DICOM file or EPR folder
